Some individual installations may have an intended use or method of interaction that may be difficult for some visitors, but each is nonetheless fully maneuverable and compliant with the ADA. This immersive, interactive exhibition is open to all ages, from March 11 through June 5, 2022 at ARTECHOUSE DC. An ARTECHOUSE Studio Original production, Beyond the Light was developed in collaboration with NASA, transcending the boundaries of traditional scientific storytelling. NASA’s team of leading experts, including astrophysicists, heliophysicists, and NASA’s Scientific Visualization Studio, helped ARTECHOUSE Studio team find and build a narrative from the most impactful data NASA has collected. ARTECHOUSE Studio then developed the visual identity of Beyond the Light, crafting a distinct artistic expression with the most advanced tools of experiential storytelling.
Admissions to the exhibit are scheduled for every 30 minutes, with the last session starting at 9 p.m. General admission tickets to "Beyond the Light" are $25 and cost less for children, students, seniors, D.C. "We're really trying to aim with this exhibit to inspire the next generation of scientists, the next generation of artists. Because, you know, we all need inspiration to open up our imagination."
